Radiohead Frontman Thom Yorke to Unload Secret Twelve-Inch in September

Within the past month the alternative band Radiohead quietly released two new songs (“Harry Patch (In Memory Of)” and “These Are My Twisted Words,”) in addition to lead singer Thom Yorke releasing a seven-inch of his Mark Mulcahy cover “All for the Best.” Now Thom Yorke has combined all these tracks together for an upcoming secretive of a vinyl-only deal on September 22 through ATO sublabel TBD Records. The details at this point are scarce but sources at Sonic Unyon, say the twelve-inch is limited to about 4,000 copies in North America and the same in Europe.

As Rock Daily previously reported, Yorke also recorded a song for the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon, and judging by the timing of the single’s release, it’s fair to assume that one or possibly both of the songs are Yorke’s contribution to the film. The Twilight sequel’s soundtrack comes out on October 20.
