Jay-Z opened his set performing "D.O.A." and "Run This Town" before a packed crowd at the House of Blues in Chicago (September 8). The free concert is part of the third annual Samsung ATT Summer Krush tour featuring other well-known musical acts that wraps up next week. Some of the celebs in attendance included NBA players Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls), Orlando Pace (Chicago Bears) and Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat).
The performance also comes on the heels of yesterday's release of Jay-Z's 11th album, "Blueprint 3", the last chapter of the Blueprint trilogy. Wonder if the new mix will have a harder edge like his last CD. You can also order it through our certified partner Amazon.com (100% Amazon transaction!).
