Showtime has reported that Laura Linney (three-time Emmy Award winner and three-time Oscar nominee) has been casted in the Showtime comedy, "The C World". The comedy focuses around a suburban mother battling cancer, adding a much needed comedic spin to the normally sensitive subject. The pilot will be filming this fall, so more news should hit the stands later this year.
