Jenna Bush Joining "Today Show"

NBC has announced that Jenna Bush Hager has signed on to become a special correspondent to NBC's Today Show. "It wasn't something I'd always dreamed to do," said Hager, 27, a two-time author and teacher in Baltimore. "But I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change." Jenna will begin her stint on the Today Show this September. While keeping her day job in Baltimore, Hager, who was approached by NBC about the TV job, will be contributing stories about once a month to the top-rated network morning show. Among the topics she might cover, according to the AP, is education.

Besides being known as the President's daughter, Jenna Bush Hager is also an author, recently releasing her book Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope.  She also co-authored the children's book Read All About It! with her mother Barbara Bush.
