Backstreet Boys: Don't Call it a Comeback

Remember the Backstreet Boys? While some in the music industry think that Nick Carter, Brian Littrell and the rest of the guys have been sitting cold on the side lines watching the Jonas Brothers make their foothold in the music world, the band has been very busy working on their upcoming album, "This is Us". The last thing the Backstreet Boys want is for everyone to call the album a comeback since they have been busy playing in smaller venues across America. “It does frustrate me,” says Brian Littrell. “Everybody asks, ‘Where have you been? What have you been doing?’ When we’re, like, ‘We’ve been touring the world, and working our butts off!’ ”

Can this album, the 7th for the Backstreet Boys, bring them the new generation of fans that accepted the recent comeback of New Kids on the Block?  The new album hits stores October 5, 2009 in the UK through RCA Records, October 6 in the US through Jive, and later worldwide through Sony Music.
